PRINCIPAL MESSAGE- “It’s going to be a good day!”

We hope that everyone had a restful and relaxing November Break.  Did you get a chance to watch our Remembrance Day video? Thank you to Mrs. Smith for putting that together. We had a bit of construction happen over the break and hopefully it will be all done for Monday.  We cannot wait until tomorrow to see everyone again.  It is hard to believe that there will only be five weeks until the Christmas Break.  We have a lot of great activities planned.  We are hopeful the school photos will be in this week. We are going to be starting some more focused literacy and numeracy support for our grade 2 and 3 students. Our Christmas Concert will be virtual again this year.  Mrs. Smith has already begun working on it with the students.  Mrs. Smith also made an awesome video to help parents and students know a bit more about our school, since they are not able to come in yet.  See below.

Do not forget to get your order in for a Poinsettia.  Thank you to the Bellevue Fundraising Society and Parent Council for organizing this.  Lastly, it looks like snow Sunday, so make sure you are dressed to go outside for recess.

    DOGS ON SCHOOL GROUNDS

A friendly reminder that we are asking parents to keep their dogs off of the school property during school hours.  We have noticed an increase in the number of dogs and many of our students have different comfort levels with dogs.  There are many dogs and people after school.  We appreciate your support.

    DROP OFF

Just a friendly reminder that the staff parking lot is not an area that you can pull into and drop your child off.  Please use the kiss and go or park along the street.

    POINSETTIAS

Our wonderful poinsettia fundraiser, get your order in soon. Pick up will be December 7th.

    WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL VIDEO

Thank you to Mrs. Smith and the many students that helped put this video together.  We know that many parents cannot come and visit their child’s class, but we hope this helps.

    SOBEYS AND NO FRILLS

We are selling Sobeys and No Frills cards again this year.  You can access them through your PowerSchool account and the gift cards can be picked up in the office.
