What to Expect AFTER Photo Day:

A portrait proof sheet will be delivered to the school approximately 10 days (about 1 and a half weeks) photo day, sorted according to homeroom.

FUNDRAISING SOCIETY AND SCHOOL COUNCIL NEWS

We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Camrose Casino. This is an excellent opportunity to get a lot of funds for our school. The shifts will be on November 18th and 19th, 2024. Please email [email protected] if you can help out.

SCHOOL COUNCIL AND FUNDRAISING SOCIETY – ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Oct 23, 2024

HOT LUNCH

Many families are not aware that Hot Lunch is the largest fundraiser for the school. During Hot Lunch days, please refrain from dropping off a Hot Lunch for your child, instead of placing an order through the school. Last week over 35 hot lunches were dropped off at our office. As you can imagine, this is very challenging for our office staff to manage in an already busy office. 

There are additional items that can be ordered like milk, chocolate milk, cookies, yogurt etc. in addition or instead of the main hot lunch. We appreciate that families support our school through this fundraiser, but many families do not purchase Hot Lunch and send a regular lunch. There is no stigma associated with a child not receiving Hot Lunch as it’s approximately 40-50% of our students who purchase it. 

PARENT CAFE

Please join us every Tuesday morning in our staff room (9:00-10:00am). These parent sessions are facilitated by Kathy Krothers (FCSS), BGSD’s Occupational Therapy team, and the Family Resource Network. Everyone is welcome: City of Beaumont and Leduc County residents, and anyone else who could benefit from these sessions. We will have an advert with all of our sessions until the holiday break coming out very soon. This Tuesday’s session is Setting the Foundation and a meet and greet. Coffee and treats provided! Please feel free to tell your neighbors and/or family…..anyone who can benefit!
