    STUDENT LED CLUBS

Did you know that we run student-led clubs here at Ecole Bellevue School? These clubs are an amazing opportunity for our grades 4,5,6 students to develop citizenship and workplace skills.  Here are our upcoming student-led clubs:

Grade 1 Halloween Colouring/ Art Club (Tuesdays @ lunch recess)

Grade 2 Comic Book Club (Mondays at morning recess)

Grade 3 Basketball Club (Wednesdays @ lunch recess)

Grade 4 Chess Club (Fridays @ lunch recess)

These clubs are completely created and run by our own students! There are sometimes students from other grades that attend a different grade level club based on interest. We want to send a VERY BIG THANK YOU to our teacher volunteers who give up their break and lunch times to help our students and supervise!

    Go Bellevue!

    HALLOWEEN AT SCHOOL

Students can dress up on October 31st, but we are also encouraging students to wear orange and black on this day.

Students can come dressed in the morning and will be hosting our parade at the end of the morning. Classes will be doing Halloween activities in the afternoon in the classrooms. Students in the Active for Life Program will continue with their activities in the afternoon.

Please consider the following, when bringing your costume to school

    • Be eating throughout the day with his/her costume on
    • Your child has to be able to properly wear his/her mask and be able to wash their hands
    • Please leave all weapons at home. Accessories should be easily washed.
    • As usual, please do not wear violent and overly scary costumes, please be school appropriate. We have a lot of younger students in the building.

    BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS

    📕Book Fair Volunteer Sign Up📘

It’s only a couple of weeks until our Fall Book Fair which will run from November 5th-7th.

A Scholastic Book Fair returns a percentage of product profits back to our school.

The main focus of a book fair is to foster a love of reading in your children, while putting new books and resources into our school library.

In order to run the fair, there are many tasks to complete and your help, in whatever way you are able to contribute, would be greatly appreciated.

Volunteers will be contacted once a schedule has been made. Thank you in advance for your time and effort. With your help, our book fair will bring in many new books for our library.

Any questions please contact the Library Clerk; Heather Dyckerhoff
