GREAT THINGS HAPPENING!

Over the last two weeks, we had lunchtime skating for grades 3,4,5,6. This week, Mr. Villeneuve started lunchtime basketball for grades 4,5,6 and floor hockey will start for grades 3,4,5,6 in April. We also have a dance club starting for grade 4s, so great things are happening here at Ecole Bellevue School! 

ROCKS YOUR SOCKS 

We are supporting Down Syndrome Awareness. Please wear some brightly coloured and/or interesting socks on Monday, March 21st. 

DITCH THE DEVICE

In talking with students, we have discovered that many of them view technology as all or nothing. As technology is a regular part of their lives, scheduling in ‘tech time” into their routine is the best way to promote balance. Next week, we are encouraging participation in a wide variety of activities that help them stay busy while off their screens.

1- we are trying to teach students about balance, not total abandon of your device, as that is not realistic in today’s world 

2- 3 stars gets your name in the daily draw

3- 1-2 stars are still great as they count towards points for your class! 

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

Parent-Teacher conferences are happening this week. Please ensure you book a time to meet with your child’s teacher. The online booking system closes this Sunday, March 20 at 6pm. The booking link is: https://www.schoolinterviews.ca/code/r5m68   

JOURNÉE DU FRANCOPHONIE

We will be celebrating our French culture on Thursday, March 24th.  All classes will be participating in some French inspired activities. 

BEAUMONT UTILIZATION FEEDBACK SURVEY

The District sent a survey to our parents about proposed changes in relation to utilization for our school.  Please check your email and provide your feedback as we appreciate your input.
