What an exciting week. The weather was constantly changing,  no buses for a few days, and many of our students were away. We have seen an increase in cases of COVID-19.  We have had approximately 15 confirmed cases reported to us at the school. Not all have been contagious at school, but we will continue to alert classes when there is a close contact.

Please continue to keep your child home, if they are sick. If they come to school with symptoms, we will ask them to be picked up. We are seeing confirmed cases, for all types of symptoms.  In the event they test positive for COVID-19 or have core symptoms, they need to be isolated at home for 10 days and cannot come back early, even if they are symptom free. The better we all follow these regulations, the better we will be able to slow the spread to keep everyone healthy, safe and in school. We truly appreciate everyone for what they are doing during this time.

We have not received the masks or rapid test kits. We have put in calls to find out when they would arrive. There have been delays due to the weather. This has been extremely frustrating.  All elementary schools in Beaumont have not received their masks and test. As soon as they come in, we will send them out to our families.

The Bellevue rink is open and it is great to see so many students and families using it after school and on the weekend.  We are developing a plan and permission forms, so that our students get an opportunity to use it at school.

    REPORT CARDS

Due to the current Covid situation, including increase in absences with students and staff, we are postponing sending out report cards by a week. They were originally supposed to go out January 27th, but they will be emailed out February 3rd.
