ALBERTA EDUCATION ASSURANCE SURVEY
The Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) survey gathers feedback on the quality of education provided by school authorities and their schools. Schools and school authorities use this information to understand how they are doing and plan for the future.
Who gets a survey?
The AEA survey is sent (by Alberta Education) to parents or guardians of students in Grades 4, 7, and 10.
All teachers and students in Grade 4 complete the survey online at school.
Take the survey
Parents or guardians receive a survey invitation package by mail and have the option to complete the survey on paper or online using the provided Random Access Code (RAC). Parents or guardians with more than one student in an eligible grade will receive a separate survey invitation package for each child.
Only parents or guardians of students in participating grades will receive a survey invitation package to complete the survey.
Responding to the survey is voluntary. Deadline to complete the survey is March 17, 2023.

It’s only a couple of weeks until our Winter Book Fair which will run from March 14th – 17th.
A Scholastic Book Fair returns 60% in product profits back to our school. The main focus of a book fair is to foster a love of reading in your children, while putting new books and resources into our school library.
In order to run the fair, there are many tasks to complete and your help, in whatever way you are able to contribute, would be greatly appreciated.

BUS INFORMATION
This is a reminder to all parents about the new Bus Status app that we will now be using to inform parents of bus delays and cancellations. The app is free from the app store and will send you push notifications about the buses that are your favorites. When the app is updated, our website is also updated. This will be how we send all notices. We will not be using Power School to send out calls or text messages.
