Sept 15-19
SCHOOL COUNCIL
Our School Council is hosting a Community Engagement Evening on Thursday, September 18 at 6:00 PM in the school gym.
As 51 Avenue continues to get busier, we want to work together to ensure that student drop-off and pick-up times are safe and efficient for everyone. With the upcoming opening of the Esprit apartment building early in the new year, we anticipate an increase in traffic in the area.
We truly value your input—student safety is our top priority. A Beaumont Peace Officer will be present to answer questions and provide helpful suggestions.
Please feel free to bring along any neighbours or community members—this affects all of us, and we welcome everyone’s ideas and support.
We hope to see you there!
Warm regards,
The Bellevue School Council

TERRY FOX
Terry Fox Pie in the Face Fundraiser!
We’re excited to announce our annual Pie in the Face Fundraiser in honour of Terry Fox!
Can you believe our school has raised over $50,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation over the years? Let’s keep that amazing spirit going!
How it works:
- Bring a toonie for Terry (or more if you'd like to donate extra!).
- With each donation, students can enter their name into a staff member’s jar for a chance to pie them in the face!
Event Details:
Friday, September 26
2:30 PM
Back Hill
It’s always a super fun event, full of laughter and school spirit.
Our brave "pie victims" so far include:
Ms. El-Khatib, Mme Harry, Mr. Olsen, Mme Gylander—and possibly more to come!
But that’s not all!
We’re also honoured to welcome a Terry Fox Ambassador who will be visiting our school to speak to students during the first week of October. This is a special opportunity to hear personal stories and learn more about Terry’s legacy of hope, courage, and determination.
Please join us on the back hill for some fun—and help us continue to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
