clock

Remember to change your clocks back Sunday.

SCHOOL CALENDAR ADJUSTMENT

important

To help recover instructional time lost during the recent ATA strike, the Board of Trustees has approved changes to the 2025–2026 School Calendar:

Monday, November 3 and Monday, December 1 are now instructional daysf or Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and students in Grades 1 to 6.

This adjustment allows students to regain learning time without extending the school year. Most bus routes will operate as usual on these days; families will be contacted directly if there are any changes.

Kindergarten calendar adjustment- Tuesday November 4th is now an instructional day. Students will attend this day.

SCHOOL COUNCIL AND PARENT FUNDRAISING CORNER

PARENT REPS

Our School Fundraising Society and School Council are still looking for one Parent Representative per classroom. Parent Reps attend meetings at the school to hear important updates and participate in meaningful discussions that help shape our school community.

Currently, we have classroom reps for 10 classrooms.

We are still looking for parent reps for the following classrooms:

2 Suter/Gifford, 3 Gylander, 3 Hafso, 3 Gourley, 4 Pastushak, 4 Olsen, 4/5 Basly, 5 Brodersen, 5 Seinen, 5/6 Lizaire, 6 Peacocke

This role can be shared between two or more parents, so don’t hesitate to team up with someone!

If you're interested in being your classroom's Parent Rep, please contact Mme El-Khatib @ [email protected]

Meeting Schedule:

Meetings will be held in November, January, February, April, and May.

  • Fundraising Society: 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM
  • School Council: 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM

It's a great way to stay informed, get involved, and connect with other families and school staff.

We would love to see more parents join us!
