STAFF UPDATES

As we move through the spring term, I would like to update you on some recent and upcoming staffing changes within our school community.

  • Welcome Back, Mrs. Venter! We are thrilled that Mrs. Venter has returned from maternity leave to her Grade 5 English class. We are also happy to share that Mrs. Seinen, who did a wonderful job covering her absence, will remain with us until the end of the year to provide extra literacy and numeracy support.
  • Welcome Back, Ms. Strap! Ms. Strap is making a gradual return to Bellevue. She will be helping us by providing additional student support until she transitions back full-time.
  • Farewell to Mr. Larson: We have some big news regarding next year. Mr. Larson will be moving to École Horizon Heights for the upcoming school year. We want to thank Erik for his hard work and dedication to our students. He developed our Active For Life (AFL) program, which has become a cornerstone of our school culture, and we truly wish him the best at his new school! Please note that Mr. Villeneuve will be taking over the planning and support for the AFL program going forward.
  • Introducing Our New Assistant Principal: Please join me in welcoming Jolene Vandermulen to Bellevue! Ms. Vandermulen is a fantastic and experienced Assistant Principal transferring to us from École Beau Meadow. Some of you may even remember her from her previous time here at Bellevue long ago. We are incredibly excited to have her join our staff and know she will be a wonderful addition to our community.

Thank you for your continued support of our staff and students!
